The screening for chronic diseases is always conducted at local community level and organized in collaboration with local NGOs or corporate partners. The screening tests are performed on the public at local health fairs, such as in the community hall. These health fairs shall be repeated regularly in villages and towns all over Malaysia.
Nurses and lay persons perform the screening tests using a wide range of portable advanced diagnostic tests.
